Hogan, 53, husband of Robina “Robin” B. (Bushnell) Hogan of Mill
Road, Ipswich, died
unexpectedly, but very peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2015,
in his home.
Born in Mineola,
NY October 26, 1961, son of Kathleen T (Chahalis) Hogan of
Brooklyn, CT and the late Austin F. Hogan, he
spent the first
twelve years of his life in Garden City, New York, and then with
his family moved to Brooklyn, CT.
Tim was a 1979
graduate of the Pomfret School in Pomfret, CT, and then attended
Ohio Wesleyan University, where he first met and began dating
Tim first worked
for Houghton Mifflin Company as a Trade Division field sales rep
and since 1997 has worked for several commercial construction
companies in their business development and marking departments.
At the time of his death, Tim was vice president of business
development for Ascon Construction in Boston.
Tim and Robin
first met in 1979 and were married in 1990. The Hogans made
their homes in Essex, Newbury, and moved to Ipswich in 1997
where they bought their home in 2000.
Tim was an avid
golfer and enjoyed spending time on the water in his 17-foot
Boston Whaler. Tim enjoyed fixing and maintaining things around
the home, especially if it involved being outside. He was a
self-taught guitarist and lover of all seafood.
In addition to
his wife Robin of twenty-five years and his mother he is
survived by a son, Benjamin B. Hogan, 17 and a daughter, Alison
M. Hogan, 21 both of Ipswich.
service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, August 9 in the First
Church in Ipswich, Meetinghouse Green, Ipswich with a reception
to follow. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed.
