Clark, Sr., 74,
husband of Evelyn
Cole Clark, died
Sunday, March 23,
2008 in the Beverly
Hospital.
He was born June 24,
1933 in Paragould,
AR to the late John
and Lora Clark. He
went to Dixie School
and worked on the
family farm until he
went into the Navy,
where he served
during Korea. He
was pastor at a
General Baptist
Church near
Harrisburg for over
20 years. Mr. Clark
was also a Master
Electrician, he
retired from
MAC/Roland Inc.
after 17 years. He
also had worked for
Grace Electric and
one of the many
places he wired was
the ASU Football
Stadium. He
attended Central
Baptist Church. He
loved to work and
travel and was a
loving husband,
father and
grandfather.
In addition to his
wife he is survived
by two sons, Therral
Clark Jr. of
Ipswich, and Jason
Nelson of La Jolla,
CA; five daughters,
Cathy Clark of
Boston, Catrenia
Joly and her husband
Sean of Georgetown,
Heidi Gregory and
husband Anthony of
Dacula, GA, Heather
Nelson of Little
Rock, AR and Hilde
White and husband
David of Jonesboro,
AR; two brothers,
Floyd Clark of
Kalamazoo, MI and
Dale Clark of Cape
Girardeau, MO; two
sisters, Mildred
Blanchett of Senath,
MO and Mathel Murray
and husband Otis of
Union Grove, AL;
eleven grandchildren
and four great
grandchildren.
A celebration of his
life will be held at
2:00 p.m. on
Thursday, March 27,
2008 at Gregg
Funeral Home in
Jonesboro, AR with
Rev. Mike Martin
officiating.
Entombment will
follow at Jonesboro
Memorial Park
Cemetery. Visitation
will be Thursday,
March 26, 2008 from
6-8 p.m. at
the Gregg
Funeral Home in
Jonesboro. In lieu
of flowers, memorial
contributions may be
sent to St. Jude's
Children Hospital,
332 N. Lauderdale,
Memphis, TN 38105,
or the American
Cancer Society, P.O.
