Theresa A. (Terri) Perry
passed away on February 26, 2011 at her son and daughter-in-law 's
home, surrounded by her family.
Born on March 13, 1930 in Ipswich, she
lived in Ipswich most of her life, working at Sylvania for many
years and Arwood Machine Shop. Following her retirement she moved to
Maine for several years which she thoroughly enjoyed. For the past
two years of her life she enjoyed many friendships while attending
Spectrum Adult Day Health in Beverly.
She was preceeded in death by her
father Emile Rathe', her mother Alice (Lemieux) Rathe' and her
brother Gerard Rathe'. Left to cherish her memory are three
sons, Ronald Perry, Robert Perry and Michael Perry and her three
daughters, Linda Stevenson, Kathleen Singer and Lisa Whitcomb. She
also leaves behind nineteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren,
eight nieces and nephews and many friends.
A special thank you to Robert Perry,
his wife, Dianne and their two daughters, Janis and Katie for the
loving care they provided to our mother throughout her illness. We
will be forever grateful.
Her funeral service will be held
Saturday March 5 at 10 am in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6
High Street, Ipswich, followed by interment in the Highland
Cemetery, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed.
Visiting hours are Friday 4 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers,
contributions to the activities fund in her name can be made to
Spectrum Adult Day Health, 600 Cummings Center, Suite 176x, Beverly
MA 01915.
