Theresa J. Lynch Clements

Theresa J. Lynch Clements, 47, of  Newmarch Street, Ipswich, died Saturday, September 15, 2012 in the Boston University Medical Center, Boston following a long illness. She was the wife of Theodore Clements of  Port Richey, Florida

Born in Ipswich February 15, 1965 daughter of Richard S. Lynch of Ipswich and the late Jean C. (Andrews) Lynch, she was raised in Ipswich where she attended public schools. Married in 1993, she made her home and raised her family in Ipswich, living  the  past eight years on Newmarch Street to care for her late mother. For many years she was employed as a nurse's aide at the former Caldwell Skilled Rehabilitation Home in Ipswich, and for the past ten or more years at Shaw's Super market in Ipswich. She and her family enjoyed their annual ocean cruises. She will be remembered by those who knew her well  as a confident and surrogate mother to many of her children’s friends.

In addition to her husband  and father she is survived by two sons, Nathan L. Lynch and his wife Linzy of Ipswich and Marquis Clements of Lynn, a brother, Richard S. Lynch, Jr. of Ipswich; five sisters, Elizabeth Mackey and her  husband Dennis of Hamilton,  Caroline Lightbody and her husband Louie  of Florida, Rose Lynch of Ipswich,  Stephanie Lynch and her companion Hector Rodriguez  of Ipswich and Christine Lynch of Ipswich, her close friend Christopher Negron of Ipswich  and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Her funeral will be held Friday, September 20, 2012  at  9am from the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High St., Ipswich followed  a  Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Hope Church, Linebrook Road, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed.  Visiting hours are Thursday 4 to 8 pm.
