Stella F. (Bies)
Sirois, 90, of Topsfield Road, Ipswich, died on August 3, 2012
at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife
of late Clarence H. Sirois who passed on June, 23, 2011 after
sharing fifty-nine years of a beautiful marriage and friendship.
Born in Poland on
November 13, 1921, daughter of the late Antoni and Aniela Rodzen
Bies, she was raised in Ipswich where she attended public
schools. She had a career of forty years at the United Shoe in
Beverly.
Mrs. Sirois enjoyed
traveling with her husband, home cooking Polish food and
spending time with her family. She and her husband were known
for their gardening skills and making fresh homemade pickles for
visitors.
She is survived by
two nieces, Carolyn Bies Walfield and her husband Matthew of
Essex and Stephanie Bies of Somerville, and sister-in-law
Charlotte Bies of Ipswich.
She was the sister
of the late Sophie A.( Bies) Toczylowski of Ipswich, Frank Bies
of Newburyport, and Edward F. Bies of Ipswich.
Mrs. Sirois leaves a
lifetime of recipes and warm memories to those she touched over
her long, rich life.
Her Funeral Service
will be held 11 am Monday, August 6 in the Whittier-Porter
Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich, followed by interment in
the Cowles Memorial Cemetery, Ipswich. Family and friends are
respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours are Sunday August 5 from 4
to 7 pm.
