Sophie A. Klosowski, lifelong Ipswich resident, died Thursday
February 28, 2008 following a long illness. She was ninety-one years
old.
Born in Ipswich October 12, 1916, she was the daughter of the late
Adam and Josephine (Ziskowski) Klosowski. She was educated in local
public schools and was a 1933 graduate of the Manning High School.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the F. W. Woolworth
Corporation for thirty-eight years.
She is survived by her nephew Anthony Klos and his wife Joan of
Ipswich and their children Alison, Andrea and Anthony Klos, her
niece Patricia Avery and her husband Noel of Western Australia and
their sons Nathaniel and Craig Avery, her nephew Leo Klos of
Newburyport, and her sister-in-law Stella Klos of Ipswich. She was
predeceased by a sister and seven brothers.
