(Gallant) Doty, 73, of Gile Street, Haverhill and longtime resident
of Ipswich, died Friday, October 26, 2012 in her home following a
sudden illness. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Doty.
She was born
February 22, 1939 in Ipswich, the daughter of the late Ernest and
Evelyn M. (Quinn) Gallant. She was raised in Ipswich and was a
graduate of Ipswich High School. For more than twenty years she was
employed at A.W. Chesterton Co. in Groveland. She enjoyed yarn
crafts, reading mystery novels, family camping in the White
Mountains, and playing with her beloved dog Callie.
She is survived
by three sons, Stephen Comeau and his wife Terry of NJ, Michael
Comeau and his wife Dijana of WI and Bretley R. Burnett and his wife
Jackie of Wenham, as well as four grandchildren and one
will be 10 am to noon, Monday, November 12, 2012 with a funeral
service at noon in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street,
Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Interment
will be private.
