Sarah Elizabeth Coulombe

Sarah Elizabeth Coulombe, 63, passed away Friday,
September 2, 2022 in the Lahey Medical Center, Burlington after a
courageous struggle with complications resulting from heart and diabetic
issues over the past two years.
Sarah was born in Boston on March 9, 1959 and came
to reside with her loving parents the late Isobel A. (Nixon) Coulombe and
Armand J. Coulombe. She attended Ipswich Public Schools and was a 1978
graduate of Whittier Vocational and Technical High School. She traveled to
Florida and South Carolina for several years until she found herself
coming back home to live in Ipswich once again. Most recently, Sarah
worked locally in retail sales, caretaking her late mother and late aunt
as well as several others. In earlier years she worked as a waitress for
several local restaurants.
Sarah will be remembered for her willingness to
always help anyone and everyone. She had such a great sense of humor, and
smile that would make it hard for you not to reciprocate. Sarah always had
great appreciation for the people that she met and had a warm demeanor
that would make anyone feel at home. Her family and friends will miss her
twisted sense of humor the most.
Along with being stubbornly independent, she loved
her family and friends. Sarah had such a strong love of animals and made
it known she was always willing to help any animal in any way she could.
Her cat “Little Girl” was her companion and the sunshine of her life and
made Sarah’s time at home during the last two years much easier. Sarah
will forever be loved and will be missed every single
day.
Sarah is survived by her loving family of two
brothers, Adam Coulombe and his wife Rosemary of Salisbury, Bruce D.
Coulombe and his wife Diane of Watkins Glenn, NY; her
nieces and nephews, Andrew C.
Coulombe and his fiance’ Kensie Sheehan and their newest addition to the
family Autumn Rose Coulombe of Ipswich, and
John H. Coulombe, James Coulombe
and Althea Coulombe all of NY.
She also had several friends, Heidi Sotiropoulos and her lifelong
best friend Donna Farina both of Ipswich, always there to assist her at
the drop of a hat. Her family cannot thank them enough for helping her
over these past two years.
Family and friends are respectfully welcomed to her
funeral service at 10 am Friday, September 23, 2022, in the Whitter-Porter
Funeral Home, 6 High St, Ipswich. In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions in her name may be made to Cape Ann Animal Aid, Christopher
Cutler Rich Animal Shelter, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930.
