Ruth C. (Chase)
Hoog, 72, of Caroline Avenue, Ipswich, died Sunday, December 14,
2014 in the Beverly Hospital following her sudden illness.
Born in Boston
February 21, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Frederick C. and
Margaret G. (Rae) Chase. Ruth will be remembered for the love and
caring she always gave to her family.
She is survived by
two sons, Robert C. Hoog and his wife Hongmi of NJ, and James M.
Hoog and his wife Cathy of Ipswich; two daughters, Mary E. Hoog of
Gloucester and Susan E. Trombley and her husband Gary of Lexington;
seven grandchildren, Ava and Hazel Hoog both of Ipswich, Kyle Hoog
of NJ, Joseph and Margaret Seal both of Gloucester, Gary and
Caroline Trombley both of Lexington; a brother Frederick C. Chase,
Jr. and his wife Lynette of Bridgewater and several nephews and
nieces. She was the mother of the late Kathleen M. Hoog formerly of
Ipswich and sister of the late Robert Chase formerly of Quincy.
A
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 am Saturday,
December 20, 2014 at the Our Lady of Hope Church, One Pineswamp
Road, Ipswich. Family and fiends are respectfully welcomed. Visiting
hours will be Friday 5 to 8 pm. Interment will be private.
