Richard A. LeClair, Jr., 25, of County Road, Ipswich, died
Thursday, October 6, 2016 in his home following his sudden
illness.
Born in Torrence, CA July 22, 1991, son of Richard A. and
Roberta E. (Delatorre) LeClair, he was raised in Ipswich and was
a 2009 graduate of Ipswich High School. As a young man Richard
was a member of Little League, played football and soccer. He
loved music and was an accomplished keyboard musician. He
attended the Berklee School of Music and North Shore Community
College. While in high school he had been employed at Shaws
and Rite-Aide in Ipswich and while in college he worked at
Gordon College and was most recently employed as a landscaper.
In addition to his parents he is survived by many aunts and
uncles, including uncle Arnold LeClair of GA, and many cousins.
His funeral will be held 8 am Saturday, October 15 from the
Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich followed by
the celebration of a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in
Our Lady of Hope Church in Ipswich. Family and friends are
respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours will be Friday 4 to 7 pm.
Interment will be in the New Highland Cemetery, Ipswich. In lieu
of flowers memorial contributions in his name may be made to Our
Lady of Hope Church, 1 Pineswamp Road, Ipswich, MA 01938.
