Richard M. “Rick” Gould, 34,
husband of Caitlin A. (Butterworth) Gould of Ipswich, died
Saturday, May 2, 2015 following a brief illness.
Born in Framingham February 14,
1981 one of the two children of Mark A. and Joan E. (Cornish)
Gould of Ipswich, he was raised in Ipswich. He attended Ipswich
High school and graduated in 2000. Rick received his B.A.
degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He had a
career in sales.
He loved the beach, boating,
Fantasy Football, Boston sports and above all, spending time
with his family. He was an adoring father.
In addition to his beloved wife
and parents he is survived by his two children, Brody R. and
Courtney E. Gould; a brother, Christopher A. Gould and his wife
Melissa, and two nephews of Watertown, CT; and his grandparents
Barbara Gould and Clifford and Barbara Bodge all of
Mattapoisett.
His funeral will be held 10 am
Thursday, May 7, from the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High
Street, Ipswich followed by the celebration of a Funeral Mass of
Christian Burial at 11 am in Our Lady of Hope Church, Linebrook
Road, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed.
Visiting hours are Wednesday 4 to 8 pm. Interment will be in the
Southside Cemetery, County Road, Ipswich. Memorial contributions
can be made to the R. Gould Children Memorial Fund. Please mail
checks directly to a family member.
