Regina M. (Norris) Persson

Regina
M. (Norris) Persson, 57, of Woods Lane, Ipswich, and loving wife of
Daniel N. Persson, died on February 28, 2020 at the Kaplan House in
Danvers surrounded by her loving family.
She was
born in Boston on December 20, 1962, daughter of Eleanor M. (Heywood)
Norris of Ipswich and the late George F. Norris formerly
of Ipswich. Regina attended Ipswich Public Schools and the University of
Lowell, graduating with a B.A. in Music.
She
married Dan Persson on February 14, 1987 and they had three beautiful
children, Jonathan, Hannah and Seth.
Regina was employed as a private piano teacher and accompanist for the
Ipswich Public Schools as well as organist for the Immanuel Baptist Church
in Ipswich and the Lutheran Church of the Savior in Bedford.
She loved the Lord Jesus and was a committed member in her community of
faith. She was a passionate musician, enjoyed going for walks and spending
time with family, and always had fresh flowers around the house. Her
sincere kindness and generous heart brightened the lives of her friends,
family and community.
In addition to her husband Dan, her mother Eleanor, her sons Jonathan and
Seth Persson all of Ipswich, her daughter Hannah Sutherland and her
husband Reed of Easthampton, she is survived by three siblings, George F.
Norris of Ipswich, William D. Norris of Danvers and Joshua J. Norris
of Ipswich. She has now gone to join her late brothers Jonathan and Mark
Norris and father George Norris.
A
memorial service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11 AM at the
First Presbyterian Church North Shore, 179 County Road, Ipswich. Family
and friends are respectfully welcomed. Arrangements are under the
direction of the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich.
