Nancy J. Low, 64, wife of
Warren F. Low, II of Central Street, Topsfield, died Thursday
October 21, 2010 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers,
following a long battle with cancer.
Born in Lynn June 24, 1946,
daughter of the late James E. and the late Claire A. Champoux,
she was raised in Lynn and later in Seabrook, New Hampshire and
was a 1964 graduate of Winnacunnent High School. As a young
woman she was employed as a secretary at the First National Bank
of Ipswich where she met her husband Warren. In 1966, she went
to work as a legal secretary at the Faraci Law Office in
Bradford, from which she retired after forty years of service.
Nancy was a fervent home
gardener, prodigious reader and artistic knitter.
In addition to her husband
Warren with whom they just celebrated their fortieth
anniversary, she is survived by a son, Anthony J. Low of
Arlington; two brothers, Douglas P. Silver of South Hampton, NH,
William T. Silver of Wakefield and several nephews and nieces.
Her funeral service will be
held Saturday October 30, 1 pm in the Whittier-Porter Funeral
Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich. Family and friends are
respectfully welcomed. Interment will be private. In lieu of
flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to the
Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers, MA
01923.
