Miller and the late Francis Miller (2006), he was raised in
Topsfield and was a 1981 graduate of Masconomet Regional High
School. Mark followed his Dad’s footsteps and became a
machinist, he was employed by Truform Industries as a manufacturing
engineer for many years.
His
passion was hiking, Mark hiked all but four of the 4000 foot
mountains in New Hampshire, and climbed many other mountains in New
England and the Adirondacks. Mount Katahdin in Baxter State Park,
Maine was one of his favorite places, having climbed many of its
trails with family and friends. Mark also spent many vacations and
weekends fishing and boating at the family cottage in Maine.
In
addition to his wife Martha and mother Georgette, Mark is survived
by two children, son Zachary Miller of Portland Oregon and daughter
Michele Miller of Farmington NH; step children, James Blanken of
