E. Maria "Mary" McIntosh, 75, beloved wife of Donald McIntosh,
died peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 30,
2009 at the Kaplan Family Hospice, Danvers.
Born in Germany, October 19, 1934 daughter of the late Alfred
Otto and Gertude (Scholz) Storch, she immigrated with her family
after WWII. A long time resident of Hamilton, she worked in the
Hamilton-Wenham school district for many years. She enjoyed
crafts and sewing and was a member of Crossroad Quilters. Family
was everything to her and she will truly be missed.
In addition to her husband Donald, she is survived by daughter
and son-in-law Ruth and Chris Whitmarsh of Hamilton; daughter
Anne Cotton of Beverly; daughter and son-in-law Karen and David
Parker of North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and
Kevin Quigley of Danvers; brother and sister-in-law Leo and
Janice Storch of New Hampshire ; sister-in-law Ginger Storch of
Illinois; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and
many beloved cousins. She is predeceased by son, Keith; and
brother, Martin Storch.
A memorial Mass will be held Friday, January 8, 2010 at 9:00
a.m. at St. Paul's Church, Union Street, S. Hamilton. Family and
friends are respectfully welcomed. A memorial open house will be
held on Thursday January 7, from 6 to 8pm at the home of Carolyn
and Kevin Quigley. Arrangements by the Whittier-Porter Funeral
Home of Ipswich. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name
