Margery P. (Densmore)  Logan

Margery P. (Densmore)  Logan, 87, of Georgetown, wife of the late Vernon D. Logan, died Monday, February 23, 2015 in the Penacook Rehabilitation Center, Haverhill following her brief illness. 

Born March 8, 1927 in New Brusnwick, Canada she was one of the eight children of the late Evan and Leila (Evans) Densmore. She was raised in New Brunswick and Lynnfield where she attended public schools. Married in 1944, the Logans made their home in Peabody, later in Salem.  Margery moved to Georgetown in 1997.

In addition to raising her family she was employed for many years as a quality control inspector at New England Sportswear Company in Peabody.

She is survived by two sons, Vernon Richard Logan of Thailand and Georgetown , David E. Logan and his wife Susan of Weimar, CA; a daughter, Karen J. Gerow and her husband Steven of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Dawn Jones of Mason, NH, Michelle Logan of Huston, TX, Michael Logan of Phoenix, AZ, Jennifer Hebb of Georgetown, Zachary Gerow of Georgetown and nine great grandchildren, Jacob, John, Joseph, Steven, Mercedes, Crystal, Summer, Jewel, and Hunter and one great great grandson, Bently. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Annette and several nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of Douglas Densmore, James Densmore, Gordon Densmore, Jean Thornton, Jackie Purcell, Ruth Canam, and Joyce Densmore, who died in infancy.

Private arrangements are under the direction of the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich.
