Margaret Jean
(Stone) Conboy of Bedford, wife of the late Thomas Christopher
Conboy, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2011 after a brief
illness.
Margaret’s tremendous faith and caring for her family were integral
parts of her life.
She is
survived by her sons, Paul Richard Conboy and his wife Kelly of
Ipswich, Stephen Thomas Conboy and his wife Jane of Springfield, VA,
Kevin Thomas Conboy and his wife Debbie of Westford, her sister Mary
Riddle of Concord, her brother Richard Stone of Billerica, and her
grandchildren, Sarah, Ryan, Brendan, Anna, Tom, and Kristen Conboy;
all of whom gave her great joy. She was the mother of the late
Christopher Paul Conboy.
Her
funeral service will be held Tuesday March 8, 9 am from the
Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich, followed by
the celebration of a Funeral Mass at 10 am in the Church of St Paul,
50 Union Street, Hamilton. Immediately following the Mass there will
be a memorial gathering in the parish hall from 11am to 1pm. Family
and friends are respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours are Monday 4
to 8 pm. Interment will be in the New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan. In
Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to
the Friends of the Caldwell Home, 16 Green Street, Ipswich, MA 01938.
