Lynda J. Perley, 56, of Caroline Avenue, Ipswich, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 in the Beverly Hospital following her long illness.

Born in Ipswich July 17, 1959,  daughter of the late Daniel A. and Norma H. (Jakway) Perley, she was raised in Ipswich, a 1979 graduate of Ipswich High School.

Lynda was longtime employed and until her illness, as a dietician at the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers. Lynda will be remembered for the  many cats she loved.

She is survived by a brother, Daniel J. Perley of Rowley; a sister, Patricia E. Newhall of Ipswich and three nieces.

 Private arrangements are under the direction of the Whittier-Porter Funeral home of Ipswich.
