Lucy E. (Kisiel) Osmond



Lucy E. (Kisiel) Osmond, 88, wife of loving husband Philip J. Osmond of Linebrook Road, Ipswich, died Sunday, April 18, 2021 in the Blueberry Healthcare, Beverly, following her long illness.


Born in Ipswich on December 21, 1932 she was one of the three children of the late Michael and Mary (Klopotoski) Kiesel. Lucy was a lifelong Ipswich resident, a graduate of Ipswich Public Schools. Married in 1960 at the Sacred Heart Parish, the Osmonds soon made their home and raised their family from their Linebrook Road residence. For many of these years she was employed as a production supervisor at the former Bomac Industries in Beverly.


She was a member of the Our Lady of Hope Church, St. Lawrence Literary Society, PLAV Post #32 Auxiliary and the Kosciusko Club, all of Ipswich.


Lucy was predeceased by a daughter, Gail M. Osmond, a brother, Joseph Kisiel and a sister, Theodora Kisiel, all formerly of Ipswich.


Her funeral will be held 9 am Friday, April 23, from the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich followed by the celebration of Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Hope Church, 1 Pine Swamp Road, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours will be Thursday 4 to 7 pm. All services will include covid-19 protocols, everyone must wear a mask and observe social distancing.
