Louise H. Jewett
Louise H. Jewett, 91, formerly of Spring Street,
died Monday February 15, 2021 in the Anna Jaques Hospital in
Newburyport. She was the wife of the late Dr. David Jewett.
Louise was born at Cable
Hospital in Ipswich June 10, 1929, daughter of
the
late Richard S. and Adelaide O. Hodgkins. She was raised in Ipswich, a
1947 graduate of Ipswich High School and a 1951 graduate of Syracuse
University.
Married in 1952 the Jewetts made their home and
raised their family on High Street. Louise created clothing in the winter
and perennial gardens in the summer.
She is survived by her three children, Eric Jewett
of Colorado, Lisa Jewett of Salisbury and Bruce Jewett of Portsmouth, NH.
Private arrangements are under the direction of the Whittier-Porter
Funeral Home of Ipswich.
