Lori J. (Sukach) Thayer
Lori J.
(Sukach) Thayer, 67, of Ipswich, passed away peacefully surrounded by her
children on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Beverly Hospital, after a
short but progressive illness.
Lori was born in Lynn in
1954, the oldest daughter of Phyllis J. (Wilson) Sukach and the late
Edward Sukach. She was raised in Ipswich, a graduate member of Ipswich
High School Class of 1972.Lori
will be greatly missed and will be remembered as a feisty, funny,
hardworking, doting mother whose unconditional love never wavered. In her
leisure, she enjoyed spending time with her family, crosswords, Steven
King novels and being entertained by Judge Judy and Jeopardy – rarely
missing the daily double.
In addition to her mother Lori is
survived by her two sons, Jesse Thayer of Martha’s Vineyard, Steven Thayer
of Windham, NH; two daughters, Stephanie Dodge of Peabody, Kelly Thayer of
Martha’s Vineyard; a brother, David Sukach of Ipswich and a sister, Karen
Cecilio of Florida.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements
are under the direction of the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich.
