Joseph A. Pramas

Joseph A. Pramas, 45, of Friend Street, Gloucester, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in his home following his sudden illness. Joseph was born on June 26, 1972 in Danvers, son of the late Angelo and Noella P. (Grandí Maison) Pramas. He was educated in Peabody, went on to earn a BS and an MS from Salem State University and was about to start his career in teaching science.

Joeís favorite hobbies were working out in the gym and cooking with and for  his many friends.

He is survived by his dear  brother, Robert D. Pramas of Danvers; aunts and uncles, Peter and Jay Pramas of Gloucester, William and Elaine Pramas of Peabody, Patricia GrandíMaison of Newburyport, Richard and Marie Lloyd of Danvers,  and Annette V. Janes of Hamilton;  his dear friends where he worked at Jalapenos in Gloucester and  loving cousins and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his aunts, Connie Vainas, Mary Butler and Juliette Lavoie and uncles, Gerald GrandíMaison, John E. Janes and Preston Pramas.

His funeral  service will be held 11 am Friday August 11, graveside in the Greenlawn Cemetery,  93 Washington Street, Salem, MA. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed.
