Jody M.
(Sheppard) Bartlett, 59, twenty year companion of the late Dewey
Robinson died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in the Kaplan Family
Hospice House, Danvers following her long illness.
Born in Ipswich
January 18, 1956 daughter of the late Russell L. and Alice C.
(Austin) Sheppard, she was raised in Ipswich and was a 1974
graduate of Ipswich High School. As a young woman she was
employed for two years as a teller at the former Ipswich Savings
Bank going on to work at the Ipswich High School kitchen for the
next fifteen years. More recently she has been employed as a
bartender at the Ipswich VFW Post #1093 for fifteen years and at
the American Legion A.P. Gardner Post in Hamilton.
Jody was a
member of the American Legion and VFW Ladies Auxiliaries. In
addition to her many friends she enjoyed her time reading,
puzzles and spending time by the pool with her family.
She is survived
by two sons, Justin E. Bartlett and his wife Heidi of Ipswich,
Jarrod E. Bartlett and his companion Rachel Calloway all of
Ipswich; eight grandchildren, Alyssa Bartlett of SC, Orin
Bartlett of Ipswich, Olivia Anderson of Ipswich, Dewey E.
Robinson IV of Ipswich, Kaitin Robinson of Ipswich, LeAnn,
Matthew and Adam DiMauro all of Woburn and a brother, Leon
Russell and his wife Klite of FL. She was the sister of the late
Larry Sheppard formerly of MN.
A Celebration of
her Life will be held 1 pm Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the
A.P. American Legion A.P. Gardner Post, #194, 37 School St.,
South Hamilton. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed.

Ipswich.
