Jeanne (Beausoleil) Rousseau, 78, longtime Linebrook Road,
Ipswich resident and wife of the late William E. Rousseau, died
Wednesday February 25, 2009 in the Seaview Retreat, Rowley,
following her extended illness.
Born
in Putnam, CT April 23, 1930, she was the daughter of Ena (Fredette)
Beausoleil and the late Salvador Beausoleil of Putnam. She was a
1948 graduate of Putnam Catholic Academy. Married in 1955 in
Salem, the Rousseaus lived in Salem for several years before
relocating to Ipswich where they raised their family. She
enjoyed boating in the waters off Cape Ann with her family.
In
addition to her mother who is 102 years old, she is survived by
her sons, William Rousseau, Jr and his wife Janet of Exeter, NH,
Richard Rousseau of Rowley and David Rousseau and his wife
Pamela of Bradford, her daughters, Julie Walleston of Plaistow,
NH, Katherine Nokes and her husband James of Rowley and
Christine White and her
husband Lawrence of Groveland,
and eight grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers,
Roger Beausoleil of FL, Lucien Beausoleil of MS, and Norman
Beausoleil of CT, and six nieces.
Her funeral service will be held
Monday March 2, at 8 am from the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6
High Street, Ipswich, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at
9 am in Our Lady of Hope Church, Pineswamp Road, Ipswich. Family
and friends respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours will be Sunday
4 to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial
