Jane Catherine Allbright, 23, passed away Sunday morning, February 28th. She was born August 31, 1992 to Scott Earl Allbright, Sr., of Whitesboro, NY, and Catherine Rose Colby, of Newbury. Jane was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, girlfriend, and mother to her Boxer, Marley, and parakeet, Love.

Jane grew up in the loving arms of the Colby family of Newbury. She had a kind, bright, loving spirit and started each day with a smile. She had a big, open heart and could make friends with strangers on the street. 

She was granddaughter to the late Robert and Lucille Colby, of Newbury, and is survived by her parents: Scott, of Haverhill and Catherine, of Newbury; siblings: Scott, Jr. and his fiancée, Michelle, of Miami; and Rachel and her boyfriend, Nick, of North Reading; and her loving boyfriend, Brandon, of Haverhill. In addition, Jane is survived by her extended family including uncles: Robert Colby and wife, Laura, of Newbury; Charles Colby and wife, Marie, of Newbury; aunts: Jane Merrow and husband, John, of Newbury; Diane Hennessey and husband, Dave, of Bradenton, FL; many aunts and uncles on her father’s side, and dozens of loving cousins.

To celebrate her life, flowers can be sent to First Parish Church of Newbury, 20 High Road, or a donation can be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, in care of Team Diamond’s Butterflies.
