Frederick A. Judd
Frederick A. Judd,
97, of Seaview Retreat Rowley, formerly of 76 East Street, Ipswich,
died Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Anna Jaques Hospital,
Newburyport, following his brief illness. He was the husband of the
late Marion Judd.
Born in Bernardston,
February 11, 1917, son of the late William E. and Mabel (Allen)
Judd, he was raised in Bernardston where he attended public schools.
During World War II
he served with the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Battle of
Normandy. For many years he was employed as a machinist by
Ingersoll Rand Co. from which he retired in 1980. He enjoyed
baseball and bowling and attended Calvary Christian Church in
Lynnfield.
He is survived by
two sons, Fred and Roger Judd; a daughter Geraldine Olive White
and his friends and caregivers with whom he lived, Gloria and Kevin
Martin of Newburyport formerly of Ipswich.
Visiting hours will
be Friday from 10 am to 11:30 am with a funeral service at 11:30
in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich,
followed by interment with Military Honors in the Cowles Memorial
Cemetery, Ipswich. All are cordially welcomed.
