Frank E. Trojan, III
Frank E. Trojan, III of Haverhill Road, Amesbury, husband of the late Bonnie J.
(Graves) Trojan, passed away at home on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Frank was
formerly of Newburyport, Ipswich and Rangeley Plantation, Maine.
Born in Irvington, NJ on August 28, 1941, he was the son of the late
Francis, Jr. and the late Gertrude (Bessinger) Trojan. He was raised in
Irvington and graduated from Irvington High School in 1959. He went on to
serve in the New Jersey Army National Guard for seven years, discharged at
the rank of First Lieutenant, Armor. He earned his Associate degree in
Manufacturing Engineering from North Shore Community College in Danvers
while working at Varian Associates (now known as Communication & Power
Industries) in Beverly for forty-one years. Retiring in 2001, the Trojans
relocated to Oquossoc, Maine to enjoy their years in the Great Maine
Woods.
Frank is survived
by his two children, Christopher Trojan and his wife Susan of
Cranford, NJ and Cynthia Trainor and her husband Daniel of Amesbury; three
grandchildren, Patrick, Theodore, and Erin Trojan; a sister, Janice
Stevens and her husband John of Toms River, NJ; a brother, Kenneth Trojan
and his wife Patricia of Dover, DE, and several nephews and nieces.
His funeral service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, March 11 in the
Ascension Memorial Church, 31 County Street, Ipswich, followed by
interment in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Family and friends are
respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours will be Tuesday 5 to 7 p.m. in the
Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich.
