
Florence R. (Battista) Feugill, 95, wife of Cyril Feugill, Jr.
of Oak Hill Apartments, Central Street, Ipswich, died Wednesday,
November 27, 2013 in the Seaview Retreat, Rowley following her
brief illness.
Born in Clinton, MA June 29, 1918 daughter of the late Dominic
and Alma (Fontana) Battista, she was raised in Clinton where
she attended public and worked as a hairdresser. Married in 1955
the Feugills made their home in Ipswich. She enjoyed the
outdoors, skiing, boating, and Cranes Beach with her family,
dancing and time with her late sisters and their families at the
lake in Sterling, MA. Her many talents included painting, sewing
and quilting. In retirement she and her husband bought a camper
and enjoyed many cross country trips.
In addition to her husband of fifty-eight
years she is
survived by a son, Mark J. Feugill and a daughter, Jean Feugill
both of Ipswich. She was the sister of the late Eva Kranz
formerly of Florida,
Lenora Vaghini and Isoline O’Leary both formerly of Clinton.
Private funeral arrangements
are under the direction of the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of
Ipswich. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the
