Evelyn V. (Brockelbank) Flynn, 90, formerly longtime of High
Street, Ipswich, died Friday January 1, 2010 in the Radius
Healthcare Center, Danvers following her long illness. She was
the wife of the late Michael Tullercash who died in 1966 and the
late Ernest Flynn who died in 2006.
Born in Ipswich August 7, 1919, daughter of the late Arthur and
Alice (Steele) Brockelbank, she was raised in Ipswich, a
graduate of the former Manning High School. For many years she
was employed in the shipping and receiving department at Varian
Electronics, Beverly, from which she retired in 1985. She was an
avid home gardener.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Tullercash and his wife
Tracy of Byfield and Dennis Tullercash of Amesbury, a daughter,
Eleanor Stone and her husband William of Salisbury; nine
grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth
Brockelbank of Ipswich, and two nephews. She was the mother of
the late Stephen R. Tullercash formerly of Ipswich. Her funeral
service will be held Wednesday January 6, 2010, 11 am graveside
in the Highland Cemetery, Ipswich. Family and friends are
respectfully welcomed. Arrangements are under the direction of
the Whittier-porter Funeral Home of Ipswich.
