Eric Scott Barth

Eric Scott Barth, 31, of County Road, Ipswich, beloved son of the late Lori J. Barth, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston from  the massive injuries from  an automobile strike  in Rowley.

Eric was born in Beverly October 10, 1987, was raised in Ipswich where he attended Ipswich High School, lived in Gloucester and returned to Ipswich following his mother’s death in 2016. He was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan, enthusiastic about all the Boston teams. He loved training  dogs.

He was a devoted and loving father of his three beautiful daughters, Izabella age twelve, Kailee age nine, and Aria age six. They were his pride and joy and his life’s greatest accomplishments. Eric spent quality time with all of his daughters taking them camping, rock climbing, to parks and beaches and hiking, making every minute with them special. To Eric his daughters were his everything. He will be missed beyond words. They are heartbroken that “Daddy” has gone to heaven to be with his mother Lori and grandfather Roger D. Blanchette. A very special man loved by all.

In addition to his three daughters and their mother, Hallie Ortega of Hamilton, he is survived by a sister, Nicole Barth of Ipswich, his grandmother, Cynthia M. Blanchette of Georgetown, an uncle, Scott Blanchette and his wife Joanne of Florida, an aunt, Michelle Harubin and her husband Paul of NH, a niece, Sophia, a nephew, John, several cousins and many good friends including Ted Elliott. 

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich. Memorial; contributions in his name may be made to Ipswich Humane Society, P.O. Box 873, Ipswich, MA 01938.
