Electra Dabos Lander of Essex
passed away peacefully of natural causes on March 6, 2012. She was
predeceased by her loving husband of sixty-four years, Roger Lander.
Born on August 21, 1925, she was
the daughter of the late Nick and Helen Dabos of Ipswich. Following
their marriage, the Landers lived in Essex where they raised their
family. She worked as a teacher’s assistant and lunch aid for
twenty-five years at Essex Elementary School, and enjoyed sewing,
baking, and cake decorating.
She is remembered by her
daughters Loretta Grant of Essex and Maria Tzortzis and her husband
Andrew of Ipswich, her granddaughter Vanessa Turner and her husband Dan
Turner of Essex, her grandsons Nicko and Christopher Tzortzis of
Ipswich, and her five great-grand children Tia, Dallas, Haylee, Ethan
and Roger. She was the sister of the late John Dabos, formerly of
Ipswich and Nancy Coronis, formerly of Brighton, and the mother-in-law
of the late Paul Grant, formerly of Essex.
Funeral services are
