Edward F. Paquin, Jr

Edward F. Paquin, Jr., 67, formerly longtime resident of Pleasant Street,
died Monday, April 13, 2020 in the Essex Park Rehabilitation Center,
Beverly following his long illness and a last battle with Covid-19.
Born in Ipswich on June 17, 1952, son of Edward F.
Paquin of Ipswich and the late Charlotte A. (Dow) Paquin, he was raised in
Ipswich, a 1971 graduate of Ipswich High School. Ed went on to serve for
five years in the National Guard of Massachusetts stationed in the Salem
Barracks. More recently he was
seasonally employed with the Dean & Flynn Feista Shows, Stanley Hot
Topping and Dave’s Landscaping of Ipswich.
For years he enjoyed his hours of metal detecting
on the local beaches and participating in local veteran’s ceremonies.
Ed was a member of the First Church in Ipswich and
a proud Life Member of the AMVETS Post #201 in Ipswich.
He is survived by five brothers, Kevin R. Paquin
and his wife Sheryl of Rowley,
Donald A. Paquin and his wife Patricia of Ipswich, Brian J. Paquin and his
wife Pam of Ipswich, Mark J.
Paquin and his wife Holly of Raymond, NH, Timothy M. Paquin and his
girlfriend Sheryl of Arizona; a sister, Cheryl Ann Hamm and her husband
David of Maine and many nephews and nieces.
A private funeral service will be held graveside in the Cowles Memorial
Cemetery in Ipswich at later date. Arrangements are under the direction of
the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich.
