Earl S. “Bunky”
Eustace, Jr., 80, of Napoleon, OH, and formerly of Ipswich, passed
away on July 10, 2016 in his Ohio home. He was the loving husband of
Susan (Bechtol) Eustace.
Born March 8, 1936
in Ipswich, son of the late Earl S. Eustace Sr. and Sarah F. (Tebo)
Eustace, Earl graduated from Ipswich High School and furthered his
education through the U.S. government. Earl spent his full thirty
year career with the U.S. Navy as a financier retiring in October
1983 as a Command Master Chief.
On March 21, 1978
Earl married Susan Bechtol with whom he has shared thirty-seven
years of marriage.
In addition to his
wife Susan he is survived by many nephews, nieces and god-daughter,
Courtney Nelson Jackson. He was the brother of the late Stanley,
Randolph, Wayne and Arlene Eustace, Ruth Hurd, Mary Murray and Lucy
Dolan.
His Funeral Service
will be held at 11 am Monday, July 18 in the First Church in
Ipswich, Meetinghouse Green, Ipswich followed by Interment with
Military Honors in the Cowles Memorial Cemetery, Town Farm Road,
Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. An hour of
visitation at 10 am will be offered in the church prior to the
service.
A memorial service
will be held at a later date at the Florida United Methodist Church
in Napoleon, Ohio. Arrangements are under the direction of the
Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich. In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be sent to Navy Relief Society,
