Dorajean “Dee” Flint passed away quietly on Saturday
May 26, 2018 in Topsfield.
She was the daughter of Mabel (Girardin) and Frederick Buch, born July 25,
1932 in Chicago, Illinois.
She married Warren F. Flint, Jr on July 26, 1952 and began work as
homemaker, wife and mother.
In 1995, the Flints moved to Venice, Florida where Dee became involved in
the St. Andrews Homeowners Association, organized social events, and
volunteered as a reader in the elementary and middle schools. After the
death of her beloved husband in 2014, she moved to New England to be with

Flint-Ferguson of Essex; Jeff Flint and his wife Sharon of Altamonte
Springs, Florida; and Kelly Flint Porter and her husband Steve of
Scottsdale, Arizona. She also
leaves behind two grandchildren, Tracey Flint and Jeffery Flint and his
wife Sarah, all of Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was predeceased by her
sister Henrietta Connelly and her brother Fred Buch.
She was known for her quirky sense of humor and her
love of laughter. She believed that
“laughter was the best medicine” and her laughter will be greatly
missed by her family and friends, especially Doris Shaw, Carol Lubke and
Georgie Claeson who were close friends from their high school days—and
before. Services are pending.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home
of Ipswich. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to
