Derek R. Koloski, 44, of Brown Avenue, Amesbury, died
unexpectedly Friday, May 6, 2016 in Lawrence.
Derek was raised in Essex, a 1989 graduate of Hamilton-Wenham
High School. He went on to graduate from North Adams State
College and soon opened and operated his own company, NASCO of
Beverly. He loved to travel and enjoyed outdoor activities of
all kinds. He will be remembered as a kind and caring man.
Derek died following his long battle with drug addiction.
He is survived by his parents William and Cynthia Burns of
Essex; a brother Michael Burns and his family also of Essex;
his life partner, Jessica Richardson and her daughter Ashley of
Amesbury, and several other family members.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
