Cindy Marie (Fowler) Poirier, 51, wife of Dana R. Poirier of Farm Lane, Seabrook, died late Sunday November 30, 2008 in her home following her extended illness.

Born in Ipswich September 19, 1957, she was the daughter of Kenneth Fowler, Jr of Friendship, ME and the late Sheila (McManus) Fowler. She was raised in Ipswich and was a graduate of Ipswich High School. Married in 2002, the Poiriers made their home in Seabrook. She enjoyed traveling by motorcycle with her husband and was an active member of the Ipswich Amvets Post 201 Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her husband and her father she is survived by a daughter, Aimee Shea and grandson Connor Lee Wagner, both of Gloucester, her brother, Kenneth Fowler of Edgecomb, ME, and her grandmother, Dorothy C. McManus of Manchester, NH. She is also survived by her aunts Barbara Gardner of New Sharon, ME and D. Gail Butler of Centerville, and her uncle, Edward McManus of Frederick, MD.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday December 4, at 10 am in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich. Family and friends respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours will be Wednesday 4 to 8 pm. Interment will be private.
