Charles W. “Chip” Dolliver, III

Charles W. “Chip” Dolliver, III, 59, husband of Rosemary (Cragan) Dolliver of Hamilton Avenue, St. Croix, USVI and formerly of Arkansas, died Monday, November 12, 2018 in Hamilton following his brief illness.

Born in Salem January 6, 1959, “Chip” was one of the two children of Charles W. and Joyce E. (Greenough) Dolliver, of Hamilton where he was raised and attended public schools. A carpenter by trade he was employed these past thirteen years alongside his brother, running Expert Pool Service, Inc of Hamilton. As a descendant of Stephen Hopkins, he was a member of the The Mayflower Society.

In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by a brother Michael T. Dolliver of Hamilton; a sister-in-law, Kathy Kelly of Everett; a step son, Chance Linder and his wife Liz; three step daughters, Amanda Franks and husband Charles and Cari Miller, all of Arkansas, Sarah Ray and husband Donald of Texas and seven step grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held noon Saturday, November 17 at the conclusion of his visiting hours from 10 am to noon in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517 or St. Jude’s Hospital for Children, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
