Caroline S. (Krawiec) Brisbois, 61, wife of John M. Brisbois of Pond
Street, Essex, died Thursday February 28, 2008 in the Beverly
Hospital following her long illness.
Born in Providence, RI January 31, 1947, daughter of the late
Joseph and Caroline (Lapa) Krawiec, she was raised in North
Attleboro and was a 1964 graduate of North Attleboro High School.
She was also a 1968 graduate of Framingham Union School of Medical
Technology and a 1970 graduate of Framingham State College. With a
BS in Medical Technology, she was employed at the Miriam Hospital in
Providence, RI, Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, and from 1969
to 1980 as a Microbiology Lab Supervisor at the former Hunt Memorial
Hospital in Danvers. She was a member of the American Society of
Clinical Pathologists.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Michael
Brisbois of Peabody; three brothers, Joseph Krawiec and his wife
Rachel of Florida, Richard Krawiec and his wife Betty of N.
Attleboro and Alan Krawiec and his partner Michelle Regan of N.
Attleboro; a sister, Alana Bailey and her husband Tom of Kingston,
and many nephews and nieces. She was the sister of the late
Christine Krawiec. Private arrangements are under the direction of
the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of Ipswich. Memorial contributions
in her name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
