Bonnie J. (Graves) Trojan

Bonnie J. (Graves) Trojan, 63, of Rangeley Plantation, ME, formerly of Topsfield Road, Ipswich, died Saturday, May 16, 2015 in the Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston, following her sudden illness. She was the loving wife of Frank E. Trojan.

Bonnie was born in Newburyport June 3, 1951 daughter of the late Gordon E. and Grace S. (Stansfield) Graves. She was raised in Ipswich and was a 1969 graduate, with four years of perfect attendance, from the Ipswich High School.

She continued her education at North Shore Community College and was soon employed as a secretary with the Ipswich School Dept. For several years she was employed as a machine operator at the former Beswick Engineering in Ipswich, in sales at Ann & Hope in Danvers and most recently at Varian Inc. in Beverly from which she retired after eighteen years of employment.

Bonnie was a longtime member of the Ascension Memorial Church where for many years she taught Sunday School. She was a member of the John T. Heard Chapter Order of the Eastern Star having served as a Mother Advisor.

She enjoyed home gardening, her recently acquired skill of home carpentry and was an avid football and NASCAR fan.

In addition to her husband of twenty-three years she is survived by a brother John Graves, his wife Victoria and their four children of Tampa, FL and a sister, Margaret Tyler, her husband Peter and their two children of Bath, ME.

Her funeral service will be held 10 am Friday, May 22 in the Ascension Memorial Church, Ipswich followed by interment in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers, Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours will be 4 to 8 pm Thursday in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High St., Ipswich. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to Ascension Memorial Church, 31 County Street, Ipswich, MA 01938.
