Beatrice S. (Murawski) Radzinski,
91, formerly longtime Ipswich resident, died Sunday, October 16,
2011 after an extended illness, at the home of her daughter in
Aiken, South Carolina. She was the loving wife of the late Boleslof
"Boley" Radzinski.
Born in Ipswich, Dec. 31, 1919,
daughter of the late Florian and Jadwiga (Maciejowski) Murawski, she
was educated in the Ipswich School system. She worked for thirty
years for Filenes and then Macy's until her retirement. She was a
communicant of Sacred Heart Church and our Lady of Hope Parish. A
volunteer for many years at the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce
information booth, she was an avid and accomplished quilter who
enjoyed sewing and gardening as well as walking Crane's Beach. She
will always be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother and
grandmother, who loved spending time with her family and friends.
Beatrice is survived by three
daughters, Patricia Dempsey of Shutesbury, Rose Marie
Karigianis
and her husband Stephen of Malden and
Jane Huff and her husband
Marcus of Aiken; three sons,
William Radzinski and his wife Susan of Cripplecreek, Colorado, Paul
Radzinski and his wife Laurie of Denver and B. Peter Radzinski and
his wife Lydia
of Rockport; ten grandchildren,
Michael Mary Karigianis and his wife Mary, Stefanie Radzinski,
Jenifer Karigianis, Hannah Radzinski, Brent Adriance, Clark Adriance,
Alexander Radzinski, Nicoli Radzinski, Tasha Radzinski and Erik
Radzinski; and one brother,
Edward Muraws.
She was predeceased by an infant son,
Ronald, her sister, Mary
Worrall, and three brothers, Anthony Murawski, Casimir Murawski and
Teddy Murawski.
Her funeral will be held 9 am Friday,
October 21, 2011 from the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High
Street, Ipswich followed by a celebration of a Mass of Christian
Burial at 10 am at Our Lady of Hope Church, Linebrook Road, Ipswich.
Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours will
be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Cowles
Memorial Cemetery, Ipswich.
