Ann (Robertson)
Bouzianis, 77, formerly of High Street, Ipswich, died Monday,
April 26, 2010 at the Brighton Gardens Assisted Living facility
of Port St. Lucie, FL, following a long illness.
Born in Ipswich
on July 10, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Albert
Robertson and Janice (Whittier) Blethen. She was raised in
Ipswich, was a 1950 graduate of Ipswich High School and attended
Salem Commercial School. Married in 1952 to the late George P.
Bouzianis, they made their home and raised their children at
their High Street address.
Moving to Port
St. Lucie, FL in 1978, she was employed for twelve years at
Photolando Photo Shop and for the next twelve years until her
retirement, was a secretary at WTVX 34 television station in
Stuart FL.
She was a
longtime member of the Ascension Memorial Church in Ipswich, the
Ipswich Womans Club and the Ipswich Boosters . She volunteered
at the former Cable Hospital Gift Store and The Caldwell Nursing
Home.
Her children
were the focus of her life.
She is survived
by her son, Stephen Bouzianis and his wife Patsy of Sanford, FL
and her daughter, Stephanie Bouzianis of Stuart, FL.
A celebration of
her life will be held on Saturday May 8th, 12 noon
until 4pm at 438 SE Fini Drive, Stuart, FL. Her memorial service
will be held on her birthday, Saturday, July 10th at
11am at Southside Cemetery, Ipswich. Family and friends are
respectfully welcomed.
Arrangements are
under the direction of the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home of
Ipswich. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name
