Andrea C. (St. Pierre) Marcaurelle

Andrea C. (St. Pierre) Marcaurelle, 70, of Damon Avenue, Ipswich, passed
away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday August 27, 2022 in the
Beverly Hospital.
Born in Springfield on February 11, 1952 she was the daughter of the late
Leon V. and Claire G. (Grenier) St. Pierre. Andrea grew up in Longmeadow,
and following her high school graduation in 1970 she moved to the North
Shore to attend Endicott College. She went on to spend her career working
in finance, starting her professional career at Gloucester National Bank.
As her skills developed, she went on to work for NOAA as a Commercial Loan
Officer for National Marine Fishery Services. Her territory covered the
East Coast from Maine to Florida. She was passionate about her job and
enjoyed her office overlooking the fish pier in Gloucester. She retired
after more than thirty years of service.
The ocean and fun in the sun were themes throughout Andrea’s life. Over
the years she enjoyed swimming in her pool while listening to her yellow
boombox, waterskiing, roller skating, ice skating and sailing. Cats always
had a special place in her heart. She lovingly cared for two Maine coon
cats Daisy and Snowy.
Andrea was the former wife of Blair A. Marcaurelle of Boston and is mother
of Erica A. Marcaurelle of Salem and Alicia C. Marcaurelle of Ipswich. She
is also survived by a brother, Andrew L. St. Pierre and his wife Tina of
E. Longmeadow; a sister, Jeanne M. Moser and her husband James of Rye, NH
and several nieces, nephews and cousins all of whom will miss her very
much. She was predeceased by
her nephew and godson, Adam J. Moser of Portsmouth, NH.
Visiting hours will be 10am to 12pm on Saturday, September 17th in the
Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich, followed by a
funeral service at noon.
Family and friends are cordially welcomed. Her interment will be private.
