Alexander McClelland Fraley
Our family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of Alexander
McClelland Fraley, a resident of Ipswich, on September 22, 2022 at the age
of 27.
Alexander was born in Cambridge on July 4, 1995. He completed one year of
college at Champlain College in Vermont but came home disillusioned as to
what he really wanted to do.
He found success in finance and then went back to school to pursue a cyber
security career.
Alexander was an avid reader and writer and had recently picked up a
pencil to create art once again.
He loved the outdoors and spent many afternoons hiking nearby
trails and kayaking on Stiles Pond with Alicia and Cleo.
He was a free style Parkour Artist and a founding member of
Boston’s First Parkour Group. While studying in France Alex took part in a
Parkour/FreeRun demo at Stade de la Vallee du Cher.
Alexander is survived by his loving mother and stepfather, Adrienne Mincz
and Ernest DiMuzio; his long-term loving partner, Alicia Quimby; their
sweet dog Cleo and many aunts, uncles and cousins seldom seen but
remembered with love. He was predeceased by his father Brian Fraley.
I believe that Alex’s death….a young man so unique and talented…..should
show us that time is precious. He would want us all to live fully, be
individuals, speak our minds, let our creativity out, delight in every
sunrise, explore and love one another.
When you open up and love you are never alone. You have enough.
My days with my son Alex have been the greatest wonder and
privilege of my life.
His funeral service will be held graveside 11 am on Saturday, October 1,
2022 in the Main Street Cemetery, Rowley. Family and friends are cordially
invited. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Learn to Cope,
4 Court Street Suite 110, Taunton, MA 02780.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Whittier-Porter
Funeral Home of Ipswich.
