Adele (Fuoco) Mollica
Adele (Fuoco) Mollica, 90, of Clark Road, Ipswich, the beloved wife of the
late Francesco Mollica, died Monday, January 7, 2019 in the Seacoast
Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gloucester.
Born in Modica, Ragusa, Sicily, Italy on November 14, 1928, she was one of
the four children of the late Giorgio and Orazia (Casiraro) Fuoco. She was
married in Italy and moved to Hartford in 1962.
Adele was a communicant of St. Luke Church in Hartford and was an active
member of the Floridian Ladies Society of Hartford.
She is survived by her son, Rosario Mollica and his wife Ann of Ipswich,
and a sister, Carmela Curcio of Siracusa, Sicily, Italy. She was the
sister of the late Rosa Insolia and Amelia Salonia both of Sicily, Italy.
Her funeral service will be held Friday at 11 am in the D’Esopo Funeral
Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield, CT followed by interment in
the Cedar Hill Cemetery, in Hartford. Family and friends are respectfully
welcomed. Visiting hours will be Thursday 4 to 7 pm in the D'Esopo Funeral
